Il Ghiottone was founded in 1989 by Chef Guiseppe Rosselli from Cinque Terre - A string of centuries-old seaside villages located in the coastal area of Liguria, in the Northwest of Italy. He arrived in the United States “straight off the boat”. It wasn’t long before the community embraced him as they gravitated to his lovable personality and broken english. In 2000, Chef Guiseppe passed away, leaving Il Ghiottone to flourish under the care of his lovely wife, Francesca.
